Eduvate CBT

Privacy Policy

How Eduvate CBT handles user data, assessment records, and proctoring evidence.

Information We Process

  • Account data: name, email, role, and institution.
  • Exam data: attempts, answers, scores, grading records, and analytics.
  • Security logs: session events, audit logs, and operational diagnostics.
  • Proctoring data (if enabled): camera-derived violation events and evidence snapshots.

Why Data Is Used

  • Deliver and grade assessments accurately.
  • Maintain exam integrity and detect violations.
  • Provide teacher/admin analytics and moderation workflow.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and improve reliability.

AI Proctoring Specifics

When enabled by institution/teacher policy, the platform can capture periodic camera frames and detect severe events (face not detected, head turned, multiple faces, standing up/left seat).

  • Event metadata and snapshots are linked to exam session records.
  • Teachers can review evidence through result pages.
  • Browser tab/window events are tracked separately from camera events.
Institutions should communicate proctoring policy to students before exam start.

Data Retention and Access

  • Retention period is controlled by institution policy and legal requirements.
  • Access is role-based (admin/teacher/student) with activity logging.
  • Only authorized users should view assessment and proctoring records.
